You have most likely seen people wearing a tasseled necklace and wondered what that necklace represents and if it might have a specific use.
These necklaces are called Malas. Mala in Sanskrit simply means garland and is used as a counting tool.
Malas, also known as rosaries or prayer beads are an ancient tool that can assist one in keeping the mind focused and clear from thought.
You can use this counting tool to count your prayers, mantras, affirmations or intentions. You can use malas to count in a gratitude mediation or simply to count your breaths as a focused awareness exercise.
We can create a personalized 108, 54, or 27 bead mala for you.
Why are our Malas special?
Our speciality malas are planetary malas. If interested we can discus what your ruling planets are or if your desiring to bring in more of a specific planetary energy. We also create 99 prayer bead necklaces (Subha) for the recitation of the 99 names or attributes of God.
If you are interested in purchasing a mala of any kind we will personally make and design it specifically for you.
We chant over each knot that is tied which is why we call our bead creations Knotted Prayers.
